The question in the title pretty much sums up my question, here arw the details, I have a 94 toyota 4x4 single cab pick up, with the option to buy a 97 toyota 4x4 single cab pick up. The 94 is kind of rough, the 97 is in better shape it seems like and would probably less work to get to work. the had been off the truck for a while and has wiring issues along with a missing computer. The 97 has a " broken flexplate" so i figured, why not make it a manual?, if anybody has real knowledge of the difficulty of how this might be or worth doing, id really appreciate it. i figured itd be worth changing the rear main and rear cover seal along with the clutch since itll be apart.
