Hello toyota world. Thanks for the add and letting me in your community. I have an Tacoma 03 Xtra cab. My question is about the 63 swap. I read though the thread about the 63,but still have some questions. 1st I'm running 8 " in the front and I want to running 8" on the backs but with the 63. My 2nd question is , is there anyone one running 8" in the back with the 63 swap but not using any blocks? Like I said I'm new the the Tacoma world. I know you can do 63 swap I'm just lost when it comes to the block thing. Thanks for your help.

First, 63 will not provide 8” of lift. You’ll need custom springs if you’re trying to achieve that amount of lift.
Second, how are you achieving 8” of lift in the front? I assume it’s 6” DB with 2” BL or a custom 8” DB?
Last of all, not that it matters in this case, what size tires and your intented use? Assuming it’s for mud?

Solid axle, makes sense now. IMO, you got 2 option to achieve your goal as stated, custom springs or extremely extend your spring mount and extended shackles. 63 alone will not get you where you want.

why not lower the front to match the current rear ride height? I think it look better being lower vs higher

So basically I took two trucks and made 1. I had and 04 with a 2.7 and blew it up. Then I bought a 03 and swap the straight axle over and went from there.
    Thanks for the help.
