So it my first time trying to figure out what would be good for front coilovers and rear shocks my budget is around a 1k. I'd very much appreciate advice. The type of driving is mostly on road, but do enjoy going offroad, or hauling my ATV to go camping

Dig around suspensionlifts.com. Best price I found AND they sell preassenbled coilovers. For my '03 there are no OEM's available and they have a set closest to stock as you'll get with Bilsteins all around.

OME. Old Man Emu will get you close to that price.

So looking on suspensionlifts.com as recommended. I was able to find Bilstein 5100 for $834 right now. The weird thing is 4600s are priced for $872. What is the difference?

Get the 5100s and call it a day. Definitely a good set of shocks for the money. Hopefully you can find a great deal on a holiday weekend sale.

If your stock coils are still in good shape, just get the shocks, get an AAL for the rear. That’s what I did, night and day difference compared to my stock suspension.

I would get new coils too. OP is driving a 2016 vehicle, those coils have served their purpose, I know, he doesn't mention current mileage, but he says he will be doing some towing so the new coils might come in handy. Especially since he'll be in there with it all disassembled anyway.

Sorry I didn't mention mileage almost 135k and I got it at 112k. And everything looks as if it is still stock

Also thank you for all the advice. Also I'd prefer not to take the coils of death off of the old ones for the potential explosion even with the proper tools. (Not that mechanically inclined)

I lifted my truck in the drive way. Team Oil Drop has an excellent video for the install. No spring compressor required. Just a floor jack to support and lower the lower control arm so the coil spring doesnt go KaPOW
I went with Bilstein 5100's with 2" over OME springs for the front. They can be purchased in several lengths, depending on how much lift you want.
For the back, I simply went with 1.5" lift blocks (to level the truck).
Didnt need the AAL performance as I rarely haul anything and do not have a lot of weight in the back. I received several replies that the AAL is the way to go, but I chose the block.
The truck rides great with this set up
