    I just got my Tacoma wheel balanced and it’s makes buzzing/ vibrating as I accelerate the throttle to certain speeds.Any suggestions brothers and sisters of Tacoma world. Greatly appreciated

    Rotate wheels to see if the noise moves. Investigate hub bearings if it doesn't.

    Rock Lobster: The bearings are good checked them last week and no play or no rough grinding sounds

    How did you check them? About a year ago, my car started producing a very gradual howl. It was imperceptible at first, but then it became noticeable, and then it became unbearable. I kept putting the darn thing on jackstands, shaking the wheels, rotating tires back to front, feeling by hand. I even put it in gear and let the wheels free-spin under engine power. Every time I checked it while it was in the air, they were stone quiet. Finally I just bit the bullet and swapped in a set of cheap hubs. And that's what solved it. Bearings are weird like that. They will hum when they start to go bad, but often they will only hum when under load. They have been known to hide their symptoms when the wheel is in the air.
