I know it’s a specific kind of person looking to finish out a build but…
I’d like to offer the Tacoma up for sale as is for 6000$ or best offer.
    My only request is.
It is sitting on a pair of coilovers in the front and two raceline wheels in the front that id like to keep. Otherwise I’m open to offers.
As is the truck has the stock auto trans 4WD 3.5L motor with 25k miles
    Solo motorsports XLT race kit
And Deaver SUA with HD leaf pack
The truck also has a Gibson car back stainless exhaust.
Title is available if interested party is looking to keep it road legal.
If someone can post vids for me I can show the truck as the last time I was near it

    I appreciate you.
Yeah selling this thing would be a huge headache off my shoulders.
I know it sounds ridiculous but this truck is the main thing on my plate mentally.
I just want to be done with the person who’s holding onto it right now so that I can move on to doing what I was supposed to be doing… helping other vets :annoyed::rofl:

As my wife describes it, it's like having open tabs in your browser. Until you take care of it, you can't close the tab and it just takes up memory.

Also might be worth posting up in the local thread of where it's located. Some people may be more interested if they can just hop, skip, and jump to it and load it up.

Trust me, if I could get it out of my hair already it would have been gone last august when I started addressing this issue with the involved party lol

What annoys the hell out of me is this is a problem unique to this time and market climate because
If the economy was in any better shape. We wouldn’t have bulk of our population required to live in apartments instead of homes.

If I had a house and a driveway…. None of this would be an issue

Bums me out beyond belief that I got out of the military all fucked up and angry at the world and my grandfather when he was still alive told me it’s not worth the anger and the frustration and my energy was better served finding a new way to help others and continue to serve in a way that could bring me fulfillment.
He helped me begin turning his 100Acre property into a place that I hoped to one day open as a outdoor space for veterans to camp and enjoy the outdoors.
    But no
Wells Fargo didn’t even care he wasn’t even cold in the ground before they said they wouldn’t let me keep the property because his updated will showing me as the owner after his passing wasn’t notarized.
So me being me I regrouped and figured out okay, I gotta keep this going because he believed in me.
So I venture into building this Tacoma and I did in fact get to help veterans with this thing and as we faced new challenges we upgraded… but upgrading this to keep up with new challenges seemed to be the axe in its head.
I drop it off at Sano,
Pay 10k for a roll cage only to get a bunch of metal that a 3rd grader could have done better.
Only to drop it off with someone I swore I could trust and had the upmost confidence in.
And then nothing… for years… only to be blamed for its condition and all my missing parts… like I wasn’t bugging the crap out of him on a regular basis thinking and expecting that it was only a matter of time til I was up in the cue for work….
    So now, here I am
With a 2016 Tacoma and all this passion to serve that is essentially scrap metal now… not because of anything I did
But because I am not in a position to take charge of it or regroup into a new way of moving this forward.

meanwhile the VA is determined to put me back into my wheelchair and my pain levels are sky high and this dream just keeps getting further away.

I’d wipe my hands of all of this if I had a way to get myself back to being able to help my community instead of feeling like a burden and a let down.

man bring back the 90’s when you could still afford to start a grassroots business in a garage…

I have less than a month before my lease is up and I can’t even guess what I’m going to do because even though my income is fixed and medical expenses are piling up…. My rent decided it needed to go up too…. And since I tied up over 100k into this project since 2016
I’ve been able to recoup about fuck all…

so if anyone out there is reading this and smiling thinking you’ve won…
    Fine.
If you needed to see this all go up in flames that bad.
    Whatever.

But if anyone out there is reading this and thinks this sucks and I wish my buddy such and such could help…
    I’m asking for help.
Cause I feel trapped and fucked.
And if anyone is in a position to help and actually cares.
    I would appreciate some help.

dang buddy, it has been a drawn out saga, I'll shoot you a message on FB later.

Sadly I'm not in a real position to help do anything about the Taco in its current state other than offer advice.

Now if you tow it back to KY I'd help strip it at a storage unit...

I can only dread imagining how much I’d get charged to move that from cali back to Kentucky.
Cause it def don’t fit on the current uhaul trailers
And I don’t think that toy hauler uhaul is actually out yet

Yeah 4k has been my experience as well.
And I’m sure with it needing to be towed onto the trailer there would be more fees

It’s a shame cause a pressure washer and some dry ice blasting it would be in great condition to continue something.
But that’s just not within my power/access.
    Like I joked with you.
It would make a sick ass X runner even if it’s not the best for a 4 seater prerunner

Hey man sucks to see what has happened to you with this build! It would have been sweet to see it come to fruition but with how things went with the builder and leaving you in a real shitty position it sucks to see man.

I've seen you post in couple different spots on TW so just wanted to clarify what is for sale and how much. I'm up in Canada but I'm wondering if I know anyone who might want a potential truck. If I wasn't into mine as far as I have got I would be all over this.

So the truck with parts minus the coilovers + raceline wheels is $6k? This includes the Solo kit and SUA kit. I know you have a full float axle as well, how much for that as well as the third member?

For 6k you get cab, doors, frame, complete driveline,
Deaver SUA, Gibson stainless catbsck exhaust
Solo kit minus shocks and beadlocks

I don’t know if @WormSquirts could help if anyone in Canada was interested

I do have the floater with hubs, rotors, 4x calipers and axle shafts 35 spline 300m heat treated (5100$)

Another 2800$ for the trutrac ford 9inch dif
And if you somehow purchase all of that I will give you the front gears and install kit for the matching 5.29 ratio for free (600$)

basically everything you see in the other threads is still what’s for sale.
Nothing has really sold yet so I haven’t needed to do anything except adjust prices haha :bananadead:
