Let's see some regular cabs with RTTs!

Really interested if anybody has a "long" RTT mounted on a bed rack system that overhangs their regular cab truck roof. Plenty of pictures of this on 3rd gen crew cabs, and even some pictures on 1st and 2nd gen extended cabs.

I have a '97 regular cab and am considering a RTT, either a side folding tent mounted directly to a tonneau cover, or a long pivot style (Alucab) mounted on a bed rack system and extending over the cab roof. Those tents are all approximately 90" long. With my 6 foot bed, that puts about 18" of overhang on the cab, and I just can't seem to visualize how that will look. Front of the tent could function as a place to mount driving lights . I'm not interested in letting the tent rear overhang that far.

Below are some examples of this type of tent on extended/crew cab trucks. (Many of which came from this website and look great.)

    FAFO and report back!

When your extensive search of google comes up empty, you will have to become the expert.

You could mock it up with cardboard and a bit of wood and a little paint. Go crazy! Take pics!
    We’d love to see!!!

I have an ikamper skycamp 3.0 (the full size one) and a short bed. It’s lined up to the bumper and extends a little over the cab. It doesn’t reach or cover any part of my moonroof.

GFC camper (90-inch length) on a 2nd gen RC. Figure with a RTT, you could push it several inches back so that the rear of the tent is more or less flush with the rear of the bed.
