Is there something spicier out there? Installed OTT Super Spicy in 2022, looking for something more!

    @Rock Lobster

    Wait...what? lol

    ********************************

I got the Spicy ECT and very happy with it.

OP, what kind of set-up you got?

Have you contacted your Tuner to make them aware of shortfalls?

There's not anything above what you have. If SS isn't "enough," you're probably looking for something that's outside what we'd consider a realistic expectation for the platform.

95+% of our 3G clients fall within the Lite-Mild range for Auto's. Manuals can be a step higher on occasion.

    Sorry for late reply here!

Truck is 2011 Double Cab 4x4, 2" lift on front, 0" on back, 33" tires, 140K miles. Daily driver + adventure machine. Understand I may be looking for something not really available. Put the OTT Super Spicy in maybe 2-3 summers ago. It's fun, nice and helpful - I can even break the tires loose from a dead stop sometimes, which is all I really want. :) And to pass everything in sight going uphill with 300-400lbs of gear and bikes loaded up. :)

Maybe gearing is my next option - where do I go for that discussion!? Also, recommended Seattle area shops for gearing talk and service?

Mustangs are for women in middle management and rentals for touring wineries.

If you want the sports car for super he-man manly chads, that would be a Miata. You have to be pretty comfortable with yourself to be caught in public driving one of those.

I can't even think about what kinda sports car I'd want.

In the past, I've liked the 300Z and the Celica Supra.

    Lotus. :)

@RodRidesAgain, regear and supercharger. I don’t know of anyone in Seattle proper. Try Rears & Gears or NW Differential. There are others too; I just don’t know them offhand. Most auto mechanics will have a shop they recommend for that.

(I used Driveline Service of Bellingham.)

If I had to do it again, I'd pick up an Elise. It used to be you could find a clean one for 30k, but it seems that they're rapidly appreciating in value. A clean example is now going for 40-50k, pristine for far more. They're bare bones (be thankful that they at least put fabric on the seats), but incredibly fun drivers.

I love that they use Toyota engines and BMW (?) suspensions.

I usually see guys in there 20s and 30s driving mustangs. Its the lifted/tricked out Wranglers that women drive a lot

I had to search "Elise" and see it's a Lotus.

I'd go as far back as an MR2 after seeing that sports car!

Thanks Tom! I'll check out Rears & Gears (2 hr drive) and NW Diff (1.5 hr drive) but I am in Bellingham quite a bit so Driveline Service might be a good option - are "simple" gear changes on Tacomas up their alley?

Next, what gear ratio is best for me - let the Googling begin!

If anyone has gear ratio ideas, guesses or expertise I'd love to hear it. Also, I'll search the forum, I promise.
