4th gen Mystery wire next to rear diff lock switch

Does anyone know what this wire is for? It was connected to one of the blank inserts in the center console next to the rear differential lock switch.

 

Buttons flanking the rear diff lock are: 1) Sway bar disconnect; 2) Multicam view.

 

Would be pretty sweet if it activated multicam and there was more video inputs somewhere.

 

Oh ok. I guess those aren’t on my TRD off road. Any idea where a wiring diagram would be if I wanted to use those wires for something?

Which blank was it connected to?

It would be pretty awesome if the wiring is already there for the sway bar and we would just need to buy the bar and button.

 

The only wired switch I have is for rear differential lock. The wire was on the blank on right hand side of that.

 

That would be the sway bar disconnect then.

Hopefully it goes to all the way. This wasn't (and really still isn't) widely available when I bought my truck so I'd love to add it.

 

OP, you could purchase the mating connector and use the switch illumination wires for any added switches. (OEM or Aftermarket ones)

Not yet... I am "scouting" for thoughts right now and appreciate the input, as it looks like you are the wiring master! I found the GMRS radio idea here and deciding on where to mount right now.

 

Just curious where you got that RJ45 plug. I want to put my GMRS in but do not want to see it. I have the remote mike and would like to leave it hidden until I need it.

 

Is it easy to pop this up? and how do you do it? My daughter spilled chick fl la sauce and I want to get it cleaned up better it is greasy

Mount under the seat would be another option. That’s what I did with mine !

 

Looks like the connector to the Start/Stop system. The 2WD have that system. The button would be the last on the right which is just blank for the 4WD vehicles. I just installed the module to keep it off and that looks like the connector.
