IMG_9402.jpg IMG_4423.png Hey guys. Just bought my first truck a 2023 SR5 and it came with many mods from the previous owner. One of these is a full body armor style bumper replacement which left me with no oem front bumper. I hope to remove that and add my own smaller steel bumper with a pull bar but but in order to do this I need to find, buy, and reinstall the oem front bumper assembly. My question is, where do I buy all the parts I need including hardware to mount it all. I’m new to all this and it’s a bit overwhelming. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I’ll attach a photo of the truck to give yall an idea of what’s gone from original. And also a pic of the style I’m going for.

You basically need the bumper cover https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8504764&cc=3354143&pt=1344&jsn=528
as well as the support pieces which allow the bumper cover to clip to the fender sheetmetal:
    https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7827212&cc=3354143&pt=689
    https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7827216&cc=3354143&pt=689

The crash bar, energy absorber, front valance, etc. aren't needed if you install a lower-profile steel bumper.

Depending on the specific bumper you chose, the slender grille piece between the two fog lights: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=8012484&cc=3354143&pt=1384&jsn=598

Best bet is to find someone that wants to trade their OEM components for your aftermarket bumper. May also find someone selling all the bumper components from another black 3rd gen.

Did you happen to review the installation instructions for the current bumper to verify if the install permanently altered the truck?

I’ve found many different sellers for the parts I just wasn’t sure what all I needed. Thank you for your help! I found the bumper listed on eBay and from what I could tell there is no permanent changes to the truck.

Doubt anyone is gonna wanna trade for that…. But good luck. Ain’t no oem bumper left, that’s a full replacement.

Op hit up a junkyard see what you can find. Like someone else was saying you don’t need all the parts.
Just do it before that thing grows on you.

Go to your local Toyota dealer's part shop. Give them your VIN. They will look up the part numbers for everything you'll need. Then you can order the parts through a local dealer via autoparts.toyota.com. It will link to various local dealers' parts websites. Shop around, dealer discounts vary. Or use the part numbers to take your chances on aftermarket parts.

Nah. You can find it out. I don’t remember how I did it but I found the original owner of a car I bought, but my girlfriend at the time had a strong opinion against that. I’m pretty sure it involves some googling.

Check FB marketplace part out listings. I’ve came across a few bumpers in the past.

I know we're all looking at the bumper but are the tires cupping? The way the shadows fall on the tread looks off to me.

Whew the underbite on that bumper. I see why you want to replace it. Shop around for a nice high clearance bumper.

I think one of the bumper vendors made plastic filler pieces that go under the headlights if OP is interested in going with a high clearance steel bumper. I can't recall which vendor but will dig around.. perhaps someone else here remembers?
