    2025 Bronze oxide Tacoma
About a week ago I traded my 19’ Tacoma in for a 2025 Tacoma. I purchased it on a rainy day and now just noticed this brownish dots appearing under the paint. The color is bronze oxide so it didn’t initially jump out to me. I tried Adams iron remover but was not successful at getting it off! Any ideas? Thanks

Paint flaw would be warranty. Just don't tell them you tried to remove the spots because I'm sure they would try to turn it around that you caused it.

That is the beauty of Toyota paint. Be thankful it’s not a light color.

Amazes me that Toyota paint is still an issue after all these years. I guess it's cheaper for them to just deal with the complaints. Rather than completely re-tool and re-engineer their paint process. How many decades has this been going on now, damn shame.:annoyed:

Where is it at? 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas had this issue where tire dressing would sling off the tire and leave brown marks IN the paint. Nothing would really take them out EXCEPT time in the sun. Seriously. There should be some threads there about it in their forums. I had the issue on my Quicksand and Pyrite (obviously less noticeable on the Pyrite) and it took a week or two in direct sun to go away. I do not remember the stock tires... I think Goodyear was the culprit but I also remember having BFGs on my Pyrite?
