Long shot but anyone in the Hudson Valley know a quality mechanic or shop that works on 1st gen’s?

No work needed but not in love with my current mechanic and always wanted to bring it to one that would love the “girl”!

    Let me know! Thanks!!

Hudson Valley is pretty broad area. Care to narrow it down?

I’m in Columbia County. Near Red Hook/Hudson.

Who's your current mechanic? Germantown, eh? Not much around here anymore. There's County Route Repairs, but Doug is getting pretty old. Guy's Automotive was decent when my buddy worked there but he's gone now (and Guy retired), and good luck getting in touch with S&R Automotive, they barely answer their phone. I do all my own work so I can't personally vouch for them, but I hear that Fully Loaded Performance down on 9G between Germantown and Tivoli does decent work. They've always got a good assortment of classics and built vehicles in their lot.

I’ll check out Fully Loaded. Definitely know/seen their shop. Thanks!

Yeah man, no problem. I used to go to Guy's for inspections, then S&R but getting ahold of them proves to be difficult. Now I go to County Route Repairs for inspections, still kinda tough to get in touch with but overall not bad. Only thing my truck ever goes to a shop for is inspections so I'm not too privy on who else is around.

One day, as my kid gets a bit older, I'll start working on my MKIII Supra again. Ronnie (at Fully Loaded) has a dyno at his house, or at least he used to. Might be worth checking out in the future. In other news, there's a guy named Butch that does detailing and tint out of the back of their shop, too. Goes by "B's Custom Detailing" I believe.
