I replaced the front and rear actuator on my 2009 Tacoma 4.0 and still have the dreaded flashing 4wd light and no engagement. I tested both actuator before I installed them and they worked. My question is this, If I go underneath and engage the two actuators using a battery and leads, then put the switch in 4wd low, will that reset 4wd ECU ?

My wires look much different from the pictures in the help thread. Question, should I limited my testing to the top right closter? or are all clusters fair game? Light green (B26) and L4 yellow/black were on the middle top cluster and showed 12v, not available in the top right cluster.

That's not the 4wd ECU, the 4wd ECU is to the right looking straight up with the glovebox trim removed.

Checking the switch voltage 2H, everything was as expected except for TL2 Blue/white wire that was dead. Not sure where to go from here...

So TL2 is stuck at 0v in 2h?

Unplug the Transfer Case Actuator and verify TL2 goes to 12v.

Yes, TL2 went to 12v when I unplugged the Transfer case actuator.

So either the actuator isn't timed correctly or there's an issue with, I'd pull the cover and check the timing.
