    The highlights so far.
1st day stayed in Minot at a hotel due to rain
Stashed 4 joints in the bushes for the return trip.
    2) After entering Canada, found a weed shop and grocery store for a resupply. Saw 3 bears, 2 rams, and more bison than we could count along the highway.
    3) The flatlands continue into day 4-5) Hasn't rained since S Dakota.
Stayed at the Liard Hot Springs inside the Jurrasic Park like electric fence campground. You have to walk outside the fence to get to the springs. We saw a mama moose and her calf on the walk back to camp. May be 20 yards away.
    6) Spent the night at Teslin. We pulled into camp at 3 pm as we had to get out of ALF and catch our breath.
7)Headed to Dawson City and got a camp across the river. The only paved road is the hiway through town. There is a bar that gives you a shot of Yukon Jack (of course) with a real toe in it that you have to touch your lips. I have the certicate to prove I did it. Smoked what stash we had before the border crossing tomorrow. The wind was blowing down by the river, so we choose to camp up the hill in the trees. Was noticeably warmer in trees next morning.
    8) Arrived at Chena Hot Springs for 3 nights. We can resupply, get a real shower, get ALF somewhat more organized and pretty much chill for awhile. Gonna try the fishing here, too.
After we leave Chena, its off to Denali and there will be no service.

Sorry. No pics that I can post.
There is limited service and my techno challenges.
We just got out of the hot spring and are now waiting for the tour of the green houses. This part of the trip is not the rugged adventure I was expecting, but it sure is nice.

After the green house tour, we had dinner then a 1 hour soak in the hot springs. Started talking to a guy that is part owner of a hotel chain up here. $22 an hour plus room and board. Seems like I may have a job for next summer.
Edit- There is only one building in this resort that has internet service. It won't support posting pics.

    @Thatbassguy
Tigerton, I have site 61 for thur, fri, sat, sun, nights. Reservations were made months ago.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the weekend festivities. As most of you know I have a heart issue. On June 11th, I will be having open heart surgery to fix it.
It looks like I'll be off work for 3 months.
I will not cancel the reservation.
The site is open to whoever wants it.
Pat @pearing is planning on squatting.
If the confirmation number is needed, pm me and will give it to whoever.

You'll be missed at Tigerton, but glad to hear you're getting the ticker fixed up. Keep us posted and let us know if we can help with anything besides the classy entertainment here.

And before anybody asks, the answer is no.
Nobody can borrow my truck for any Tigerton shanganigans. :mudding:
It needs a new cv boot.

Fished 2 ponds that were stocked yesterday. No joy. My buddy had 3 strikes but failed to land them. It's a bit breezy and there is a chill in the air, even 52 degrees. We plan to spend the afternoon in the hot spring.

When we showed up at the hot springs the first day I walked up to the counter and without saying one word, the lady asked, "Dave? Here's your towels. The spring is that way." How she new who I was blew me away.
Yesterday we were chatting with said lady and mentioned we did not have reservations for Friday. As we were putting on our shoes, she comped us passes. Soon as I post this reply, we're going for a soak.
Tomorrow we head to Denali for the rugged adventure part of our trip. Hope this dry weather holds.
