    Hello all!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have had my 3rd gen Taco for over a year now, and have only recently been looking into modifying it. I want this rig to be a jack of all trades, minimalist off-roader, and overall solid everyday vehicle, even if the gas mileage is okay. To accomplish this goal, I have been thinking of purchasing a camper shell/truck cap/topper. I am looking for a cab high, mid range shell with 4 windows, windoors (if that is the technical term), and an opening rear window. I would like a headliner, and do not need any other bells and whistles. In my research, I have seen and read about a large variation in quality with the three brands I am looking at, which are A.R.E., Leer, and Snugtop. I want this shell to last me a long time, and to be able to use it regularly. I do not need a shell rack, either. I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Snugtop GB sport, but no dealers are near me stocking that specific model. I have been looking at A.R.E. toppers and Leer toppers, but I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the QC issues, and I simply want to hear recommendations & experiences of owners of all.

TLDR, I am wondering what cab-high camper shell I can get with a budget of around 6k, and a liking towards the Snugtop GB sport. A hard camper shell (no softtops) would be good, with a headliner and little to no other features. Reliability, quality, looks and budget are my main concerns. :D

^ I have been mostly inspired by the Taco build in the video above, by All-Terrain Family.

P.S. I would also like to get the shell color matched. I have an Army Green Tacoma.
