If you have the time, I bet you could learn to make your own custom pad from watching Youtube videos, etc. Might be worth a shot for less than a $100 in materials? If I didn't work for a living I would try to do all of it myself :)

My current platform is built from plywood with a layer of foam flooring from Home Depot glued down on top, then some car floor carpet upholstered over top. The foam adds a bit of softness for a decent price (especially combined with a blanket so she can fiddle with that for maximum comfort.)

My next project back there would be to add this heating pad to the cushion somehow (maybe just under it): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009Y2CFS

I redid my second battery setup last summer, so now I have a 100 amp hour lithium smart battery. I can run one of these blankets for 9 hours and only use about 30% of the battery. We tested this out cold camping last season and it worked great up in our RTT. Now we're thinking the dogs should get their own??

Realize it’s been about a year since anyone has posted in this but what does everyone think about mounting Milwaukee pack outs to these? I have 2 socket sets I wanna secure but thinking they might be a bit heavy. One weighs 22lbs and the other is 17lb.

It might not work simply because the metal edges of the panel openings could cut the mounting straps, even zip ties. The load will have constant vibration working against the straps and then there's the hard jolts from potholes, speed bumps, etc.. So, even if the panel never warps from the load, mounting techniques alone may prevent it.

The Grayman molle panels are glass injected nylon. They would hold the weight just fine and they have smooth edges so they wouldn't cut through beefy zip ties easily. You could always use nicer straps to secure them, too. That being said, its always wise to consider worst case scenario. You wouldn't want these boxes or their contents flying around in a roll over.

You might be able to just straight mount a milwaukee wall mount (if that exists) to the molle panel, then attach the packout to it.

Not sure if you still need this, but this is a pdf of a drawing I created for Karl at K-Flow Tacoma. I had purchased the panel from him about 1.5 years earlier, but between the texas heat and work, I hadn't even mocked it up yet.

Once I found the time, I began sound deadening the rear wall and driver side b-pillar and played the install video to familiarize myself with the mounting holes so I wouldn't cover them up. That's when i realized the child restraint hook in the video wasn't located where mine was.

I contacted Karl about this issue and he wanted to make it right with me, despite the time that had passed drive I purchased it. He just needed a couple measurements for the hook and mounting points on the mid-rib.

As a token of appreciation, and since he didn't have this particular model to reference for measurements, I made a drawing on bluebeam, which i have attached. If you have issues seeing it or whatever, in can email it to you as well.

TO NOTE: This drawing view is facing the rear from inside the cab and is drawn exactly in the state it was in when I created it, with the driver's side b-pillar removed and the passenger side b- pillar installed. I used the driver's side end of the mid-rib (normally behind the b-pillar panel) as a benchmark for referencing nearly every dimension on the drawing. The drawing is also drawn to scale.

    Hope it helps
