'25 TRD Off-Road Premium. This truck is replacing my previous MGM '23 TRD OR Premium. I really liked the '23 but I warmed up to 4th gen after test driving one. I really do plan to keep this truck mostly stock but thought I'd go ahead and start a thread to share ideas and mild mods. I'm loving the 14" screen in the new truck. I'm also really enjoying the room under the rear seat. Being a Premium there is minimal room behind the rear seat due to the sub. It's nice being able to store a Viair 88p, Noco GB40, recovery strap, soft shackles, etc under there. Even with all that under there, there's still room for a 16" AR15 if I ever want/need to transport one under there.

I will be updating this original post as I go.

First mod to my new truck with only 60 miles. :D Looks much better.... especially for being a free mod. I marked the pipe with a Sharpie before removing. I didn't jack the truck up (but doing so would have made it easier to remove). I did lower the spare tire. With the lines laid out on the pipe, I went to work.

I still really prefer the exit point of the TRD Pro tailpipe. The resonator is what's forcing the more rearward exit.

I did my very first fill up today at 337 miles. Light came on around 320 miles. It only took 16.3gal to fill it up which yielded an actual 20.3 mpg. Not bad for the first tank of gas.

    Bed Storage Mod:
I saw this mod in the 4th gen mega thread and had my son-in-law print these covers for me. I used epoxy to cement them to the box. This will prevent dust and water from getting inside the compartment.

    Here's the 3D print file I used:

Lots of folks complaining about gas tank size. I'm 100% stock but I've gone 317 miles and show that I have 50 more miles to go and have gotten 22mpg. So far this truck has a greater range than my previous 3rd gen. I am about to go up a size in tires to some reasonably light 265/70r18 (45lbs) Ridge Grapplers. I hope to not loose over 1mpg. For comparison, my 3rd gen averaged 19mpg on super light weight 31.6" Toyo AT3 SL (39lbs).

I still find it funny that they put street tires on a 4x4
I like what you did with the tailpipe things hideous
But yeah tires would be my first mod, good luck!

I seen it after I posted lol
    Good deal
I paid $1,600 for my toyo mud terrains but these are probably the last set of tires I buy for the truck and mostly just sits now

Finally got front windows tinted to 20%..... it matches the rears very well.

Next up is incoming 18" TRD OR wheels and 265/70r18 Ridge Grapplers.

Nice truck. Sub’d to see it with the new wheels and tires with no lift. That exact set-up interests me when it’s 4th gen time. Silver is the best color.

Thanks. I think these trucks look better with 18's and 32.6" tires. I would be getting them tomorrow but there was an issue with one of the wheels I bought on Ebay and the guys is replacing it. I won't likely have them mounted up until July 11th. Sand Mountain Toyota is having a tire sale and I'm getting 265/70r18" SL Ridge Grapplers for $1098 OTD.

So, you’re getting the 18” wheels that come on the TRD Pro? I didn’t think they made a 18” wheel on a 4th gen Off-Road.

As crazy as it sounds, the hybrid TRD OR come with 265/70r18 and the non-hybrids OR come with 265/70r17. Wheels look the same but are different sizes.

Pic added above. It really threw me off because some TRD OR's looked more bad ass than others and it turns out that its the wheel and tire size on the hybrids..... at least this is my opinion.

I couldn’t help myself. I actually had no idea they made the same wheel 1” in difference. They are nice wheels. It’s nice the 4th gen can fill up the wheel well with a 285 stock height without rubbing.

Haha, I didn't either until I placed the order for my truck. I wanted the non-hybrid due to being more simplistic, a little cheaper and the storage under the back seat. The larger wheels and more power may have pushed me to look at the hybrid a little harder.
