Well the time has come to pass my beloved first gen on to the next home. I just wanted to say thank you to this board for all the help and write ups. This is absolutely the best truck forum, hell automotive forum on the web. Tacomaworld has been an invaluable asset during my period of owning this truck.

I have used forums to repair all kinds of problems on multiple vehicles for families and friends and without a doubt this place has the best information. The mods also do a
fantastic job of organizing the forums. So again, a true thank you to all who contribute here.

I purchased my truck in 2013 with 92k miles, right at 293k now. Besides the rust, the truck has been absolutely bullet proof. New frame by first owner under recall. To my knowledge, original starter, alternator, transmission, differentials and t case. Remarkable in my opinion.

Replaced the timing belt and water pump today for the 3rd time, along with a few other things. Time to clean as hard as I can and polish paint. Going to be a sad day when I watch this truck drive away.

My son wanted to be “old whitey” for his school Halloween parade a few years ago. I’ll be lucky to ever own a truck this good again. Thanks again tacomaworld, hope my new to me Tundra is just as great as this old Tacoma.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I, I’m not sure but I think I am offended.
