What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

How are those put on ? Do they snap on ? With adhesive ? And the most important question is. How pricey are they ?

I 100% need to get the bubble mirror. These tacoma mirrors look good but kinda suck.

Sill protectors are adhesive, not snap on.

 

Believe it or not they were only 39 bucks from Toyota for front and back dbl cab. I picked them up, they wanted 25 to ship them...NOT!

They're self adhesive. Heavy textured vinyl, not sure of the mil but they're thick. Cleaned the sills and then lightly misted them with some soapy water. I don't think you'd want to try to put these things on going the dry method, super tacky. With mist, they went on real well. Just had to squeeze the water out and work them with a microfiber. I do not foresee these things coming off.

 

Rav 4. mirrors?! I’m hooked.

 

I’ve been pleased with them. They don’t have blind spot monitoring if your truck has them, mine doesn’t so I didn’t lose anything. You also get to keep factory heated mirrors

 

I have something on Amazon you replace just the mirror and plastic mounting bracket?

Yeah, when I look out over the B-red hood, all I see is brown specs of dirt...

But damn she is a looker when all clean...

 

But: Black looks great when it's clean. Wand wash only, but I had to do something after leaving it outside at an airport parking lot all week.

 

They all look good clean. I speak from experience.

For anyone looking for a good mirror glass upgrade since y'all are talking about it,

I have these and they are amazing, I don't have a blind spot anymore & even when I can physically see them passing I can still see them in the mirror, the blue tint solved the idiots that don't adjust their headlights after a lift kit issue and the heated, BSM functions all work perfect & the sequential turn signal embedded in the mirror looks badass and I'm sure it's added some safety by being more transparent to others when I'm turning or merging.

$75 a piece at $150 for the pair is a steal. Can't recommend these enough.
