A few weeks ago the driver's side window on my 2002 Tacoma xtra-cab developed an issue. I can no longer open it more than about 3/4th of the way down.

Sunday I took the door panel off, mainly to replace the outer door handle that was cracked (with a metal one from Taiwan) and saw that a window guide (the one closest to the door pilar) had come detached from the door frame. (See photo attached.)

I took the door panel off the other side to see if I could figure out how the guide attaches. I can see the bottom of the guide is supposed to be secured to the frame by a screw or bolt, but I can't see how the top secures. It may clip into place somehow?

Any insight on putting this part back on? Also I need to try to find a replacement bottom screw. The original one seems to have vanished (I can't find it in the bottom of the door frame although it seems like it would be hard for it to fall out.)

    Thanks!

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
Maybe take one of the other bolts to the hardware store and match it up for a replacement.

Big Blue/Big Orange/Big Red Motorsports to the rescue. If all else fails, measure it and you can find a replacement on McMaster-Carr.

M6x1.0 nut most likely. That's an easy fix regardless

If it slipped down, you just slide it out it up
