Bought a Krieger manual cam chain tensioner for the Klx. Going to install it today. Nothing wrong with the auto tensioner but this is preventive maintenance.

I've had great luck with this guy. Had it for years in my Tacoma and another in the car. Bought it for the bike, and the cord is perfect to lay across the days and reach my phone while coiled, then it's nice and long if I wanted to stretch it. I covered the other two ports with electrical tape to keep crap from getting in them, as I doubt I'll use them much, as my phone is C.

never needed one of those in my tacos thankfully the usb ports worked on them. okay i take that back one was broken on my red taco lol. the f150 has two ports for carplay so i just plug my cord into it.

the tracer has two hardline usb cables hooked to my handlebars from the last owner. so i can just plug a normal cord into it and charge my phone or cardo. havent found a cable i want to use for it thou.

Yeah... my Taco is old now, I guess. Didn't have no fancy USB ports!!

I've liked the sproingy cords for the car/truck. Helps keep things less messy/tangled when you need multiple.

i forget yours is the older 2nd gen body style do those not have usb ports? ive only ever owned a 13 and a 15.

i use to use those the one i have currently is tied up with a rubber cord thingy to keep it all hidden in the cubby in my flow through console so all i see is the tiny bit of the cable.

All we got was an aux jack for audio, like a headphone jack. And 2x 12v sockets.

Lol I try to avoid buying moto parts on Amazon if I can avoid it, just from reputable vendors. some are pretty quick but not always

I've often found things cheaper on Amazon and Ebay being sold by the actual company that way, cheaper than their own website (not moto specific, just in general). And free shipping!

I've done that with some Bluetti stuff, and I know I've done it with others as well.

Some did. My 08 didn't have an aux jack, too low of trim, I think? I put in an aftermarket unit eventually and replaced the 12v socket with a USB/aux combo tied into the new head unit. My WRX I think has four USB ports and an aux jack now. We fancy.

I rode over to the dealer today and checked out the Ibex 450, Transalp, and NC750X. I was walking around for 30 minutes and never had a salesman come up to me. The Ibex was bigger than I expected. Absolutely loved the Transalp.......and really dug the NC750X. I think that bike would be perfect to log a lot of miles on.
I kinda feel shitty selling something that I really shouldn't have gotten. I offered it up to a buddy, if he doesn't want it....I'll just set it aside as a backup :D
