My truck is leveled and I tow a boat that is just over 4000 lbs. I get a few inches of sag... What options are we seeing for beefier rear springs for additional load?

Add a Leaf, Air bags, Sumo Springs or heavier rated springs.

i had good luck with my blue sumosprings on my 3rd gen. Easy install, just loosened and re-torqued the u-bolts. Looks even easier on the 4th gens.

Have you given thought to an equalization/distribution hitch? That way your ride isn't too stiff when you aren't towing.

Unlevel the front. Rake has a reason.

Leveling kits are a poor choice, and as mentioned above, rake has a purpose. You would be better off putting the front back to stock and reevaluating your rear end for towing at that point. Looking at some pics you posted previously, your front end looks higher than stock even at normal ride height due to the leveling.

Stiffening up the rear to not make the rear end sag while towing with a leveling kit is sort of tail-wagging the dog. You will need quite a stiff spring to not sag the rear enough to not look funny while towing, and it will probably be harsh when unloaded.

That response wasn't specific to the OPs model year but still applies, heavier duty rear springs cover the op's question.
My point was there's also Sumos and airbags as viable options (arguably better for the OPs situation) aside from the springs themselves but whatever.

I would suggest airbags, not sure if there is a kit out there yet but I put a set on my 4th gen 4runner - also a linked & coil sprung setup (V8 as well - still miss that thing) and it was awesome. there might be some generic kits that fit. Check Etrailer and they should be able to help. super easy install and just air them down when not towing. If you do it right it shouldn't be a tail wagging the dog scenario. Big trucks use them, small trucks can too. If you are safe and prudent you can easily tow with a taco. 4k behind a taco is still much less nerve-wracking than 20K behind a full-sized pickup of your choosing (if you are being safe and breaks and ect). the bags leveling things out will make the whole situation more confidence inspiring

This! I never understood why people level the truck. The rake looks more badass to me.

I 2nd this. or 3rd it at this point. I grew up with farm trucks so the more rake the better. nobody wants to be the guy sitting on the bumpstops. Its a truck embrace it

I had this same issue before i did the suspension on my truck. With a dirtbike, loaded, and a cooler on a hitch mount my truck was squatted basically to the bumpstops. The trucks rears coil springs are incredibly soft, ill link my thread here so you can see the stuff, but if you have further questions feel free to message me :)

Dobinson. I'm currently running the C59-819V at Dobinson's recommendation. With my load I didn't get any lift, so I'm installing the 821V and hoping for ~1.5" of lift. I have a 450# camper, a 350# rear bumper, and a bunch of other stuff.

    Rear Coil Spring Specs:
    • C59-869V (30mm - 1.25") Stock Load / (Stock Height) 50-100lbs
    • C59-817V (55mm - 2.25") 50-100lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") 175-330lb Load
    • C59-819V (55mm - 2.25") 175- 330lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") 440-660lb Load
    • C59-821V (55mm - 2.25") 440-660lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") 880-1210lb Load
    • C59-823V (55mm - 2.25") 880-1210lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") 1400-1600lb Load
    • C59-825V (55mm - 2.25") 1400-1600lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") 1800-2000lb Load
