Had cracked windshield replaced. Then went to local dealer to get new rubber for the passenger side wiper. Nope, don’t sell the rubber; comes with entire blade assy for ~ $30.

Stopped a little too long to look at Taco TRDPro, meaning sales lady appeared (I think they have trap doors on the showroom floor). I’m sure there’s good (meaning they know their product line) sales people but this wasn’t one of them. Pleasant enough but not a clue about the truck. There’s something going on in the seatbacks of the front seats - figured has something to do with controlling the ‘bounciness’ during off-roading. Two each per seat, pressure gages, valves - seemed WAY TOO MUCH going on for whatever benefit they may/may not provide.

    Sticker: $68K and change.

No, thanks. As an aside, the lot was empty of non-trucks (well, I think there were 2 Priuses (Pri-i?)).

New drying toy. Man, this thing is strong, 765 version. $299 at Lowe’s with a “free” 2.5 battery, and I used a $100 gift card so not bad for $200ish.

Bought a Lasfit bedliner. Unfortunately they're not made to work around bed stiffeners. Fortunately I had this heated knife I bought when I owned my log cabin to cut Styrofoam insulation to fit in between the logs. If heated up enough it also cuts a bed liner. A tool I really debated long and hard before buying that has turned out to be indisposable.

I passed on the $30 rubber; found some on line for about $8. Threw in some oil filters and with shipping probably saved 17 cents. Sometimes its the principle of the thing . . . .

Interesting, I think I have been buying from Advance or else it is Autozone, their Platinum battery line is AGM. There is always Optima, but I am not willing to pay their price.

Also, you can buy them online. Because they are sealed, cannot leak even if punctured; so they are UPS ship-able.
