The fan for my AC on my Gen 3 Tacoma is not blowing. Doing research here it looks like the resistor is a common issue with the Gen 2, but I can't find much info for Gen 3. Additionally I have the Auto AC unit in my truck and resistors seem to only be in the manual select AC units so I'm not sure where to look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually a fried resistor will allow the A/C blower to only run at maximum power, no? If it's not blowing at all I doubt it's only the resistor that is the issue.

Yes, it looks like it’s the HVAC blower motor. Looks like it’s a simple fix.

There's a tsb for the blower motor. A new designed part is available. The old one strips out.

I think it's always good to replace the fuse first before anything else.

I completely agree! As a new Tacoma owner, which fuse would it be in my 2018 SR 4-cyl truck? I got no owners manual etc., so I have only found the fuse box under the hood and no fuse for HVAC jumped out at me. Location and amperage of the fuse would be really helpful. Thanks all for your help and support.
