For those looking to mount a redarc brake controller (liberty) in their 2nd gen (2013 in the pics), this is the perfect spot. Behind the right-side coin tray, there is some solid framework with existing 10mm welded nuts.

And after 8 years of holding onto some leftover downdraft fan install parts, I have a perfect bracket (a little massaging requied for fit).

And a tip for locating the impossibly- hard-to-find brake controller service connector... drop the lower dash and have a peak. Mine was completely taped up (except for the terminal face) behind a massive wire bundle.

Thanks. I'll be installing my Redarc Liberty in my 2008 in the next week or 2. I figured on using extra parts or a trip to the hardware store to make a bracket. The amount of money Redarc wanted for that simple metal bracket is absurd.
