    Thats not true,
The first month free was a limited promotion, expired a long time ago....
Same thing happened to me, was free month when I ordered it ages ago...
When I finally got around to using it, the first free month offer had expired.

I actually spoke to carista on the matter, so this is factual & not a user error on my part....
This was last November when I used it, after I got the sport...

That being said, I have nothing bad to see about the product or the subscription.
Easy product to use & can easily make some cool mods that we wouldnt be able to otherwise...

Get a belt buckle extension on Amazon. Two pack for about $20. It's just another receptacle that snaps into the original receptacle where you leave it and you plug your belt into it. The vehicle thinks you always have the belt buckled. It doesn't add enough length to notice. Works great.

Have a link to the AEV product for the Tacoma?

And fyi, the Carista software works with non Carista devices. Or it used to. So I still don’t agree with you on the software being shady.
