To tune, or not to tune? That is the question. Manual transmission.

Resurrected again...finally decided to get the OTT for my manual OR with 25k miles. Wow what a huge difference I was definitely NOT expecting it to be this good. I'm on medium. Drove off with my empty utility trailer and about flung that thing lol. I'm holding off on the ADM because I don't have any issues shifting or with clutch work. But I suppose I could be talked into that too ;)
Really appreciate tacomaworld and all the input.

I love resurrected threads since I'm a resurrected user! I'm still on kdmax 10 but have been considering switching to MCB because...why not?

Well lets keep the resurrection going.

2022 OR manual with Sibi tune (91 octane) + Accumulator delete + lifted and 255/85r16's tires, and RCI steel skids (engine - exhaust hanging down) + rock sliders

Went armor, tires, accumulator, lift, tune. Each change made a positive improvement over stock; however, tune has had the greatest impact on smiles per mile.

In all honesty, this is how Toyota should have tuned these trucks from the factory. The truck is finally accessing its advertised power (+ a few bonus horses) in a more useful RPM range, I don't even notice the weight from the armor/bigger tires.

It's a really fun truck to drive now.
