Hey everyone, wanted to relate an issue that's appeared in the past few days since my engine swap. After replacing the serpentine belt the PS pump started squealing very loud. After a min or two it stopped. Figured it was just air in the line. I drove it all day that day with no issues. The following day, the squealing returned and the engine began to overheat. I flushed system several times with ATF. It's gotten progressively worse since and I cannot drive more than few mins without the engine immediately overheating.

So, is it more likely the belt tensioner, the PS pump, or something else?

Nah, I figured it out. I forgot to mention I replaced the gaskets on the coolant exit. There must of been an air bubble in the engine. Replaced the coolant and G2G. The PS pump is still squealing, but have plans to rebuild.

It didn't squeal until the new belt? Are you sure the belt is correct? Installed properly?

I think the tensioner is going out. It seemed a little loose.
