I need a larger well of patience

Imaging living on a somewhat busy suburban corner and having a small sign in an overgrown obscured area, requesting no dogs peeing on plants. This makes me laugh. Usually. When a Karen comes outside and whines, it irritates me. The short sighted small brained expectations of society. Here I go, slowly laying out reality to a borderline catatonic housewife with too much time on her hands.

I asked her if she thinks the coyotes, cats, and all other forms of life besides dogs can read her sign, let alone care? They don’t. Neither do I.

If your already dead plants are so special, plant them in the backyard where you have more control? But then she can’t invite conflict into her otherwise boring existence.

Are you sitting by your window waiting for what you call a reason to come outside and be a bitch to a guy minding his own business, walking is dog quietly down a street? A street I haven’t walked down before and won’t again. I don’t have the patience for all these ignorant entitled asshats.

I always pick up after my dog but I don’t walk behind her with a ladle for her piss. And yeah, she pisses where she wants to in public areas where I DEEM it’s okay and hurts nothing. Reconsider where you plant your precious things, move, or kindly shut the fuck up.

 

to play devil's advocate here, dog urine can, in fact, kill plants. But she could also put up a picket fence if it's a big problem.
