Looking for feedback on the 8112's for fronts and the external bypass rears. The specs says they're good for 0.4 to 2.5 inches of lift in the front and 0 to 2.5 inches in the rear. Being bypass or bypass-like in the fronts, I understand wanting the piston to stay in the ride zone and ideally in the middle of the suggested lift range. I don't have any particular high clearance needs (I'm running forest service roads at speed) so I'm planning to try them out at basically factory ride height. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a set until I started watching too many Youtube videos that suggested that being on the low end was not recommended for these as I'd be too close to the JCO range and would be basically engaging them all the time. Has anybody tried running these at the low-end of the setting and how did that work for you?
