Getting ready to help Ange change his transmission fluid. We don't believe it has ever been changed- it has 113k miles on it.

Should we drop the pan and replace the filter and regarding the OG gasket, is it the reusable type?

    Thanks

You probably already changed the fluid. Don't know about the gasket but I say yes on dropping the pan and replacing the filter. If for no other reason than to check the pan and magnets for the type of accumulated crud. Hopefully, it will be just the usual fine black crud and no large metal particles or clutch material pieces.

We dropped the pan, cleaned up the magnets and inside the pan. Wasn't much crud and reused the gasket. Did a transmission flush and refill. Looks good. No leaks.
