    I remember those!

Also had a drive up milk store near me, no pics of it but I distinctly remember going with my mom or dad to get a gallon of skim. No idea if it had anything else for sale but I NEVER recall going inside of it, just through the drive through area.

This thread is bringing up all sorts of distant memories, love it

I had one of those. I got it from them in 1976 or so. That thing was huge and a pain in the azz to reel in once it was up. LOL

That Chevy looks out of place, as it is probably 20 years newer that the rest of the cars parked there LOL

I worked at Great Scott in the advertising dept. In 1975. It was at Joy & Schaefer. I commuted from Utica in a '65 Jaguar. Ah youth!

I remember when gas was under $1.00 gal.
And when it hit over $0.50/gal I thought my dad was going to have a stroke.
I don't think I ever seen him more P.O'd. He went on a rant that went on for hours.

I used to drive tye 73 beetle down to the gas station and buy cigarettes for dad.
Believe it or not I did not smoke.
Those Lucky's stunk like burning horse pooh. And yes, I know what that smells like.

I remember eating at the diner inside the Woolworth's in my city. And I recently learned that the company is still around ...as Foot Locker.

White Elephant Spokane Wa... went once a month to pick out a new match box car with my Dad back in the early 60's. Closed after 74 years.

And you could hang that 22 in the rear window, rack of the pickup.

Heck we had guys with rifles in trucks in high school parking lot...1976.
They were out hunting before class started.
