I ended up not using both, only one set of the spacers. They work great and the extra lift in the front is about 1/2". My head is nowhere near the headliner (non-sunroof). Super comfy.

Don't overthink it. We're not talking about 10's of 1000's of pounds of force here. If it was bolting down a suspension arm - yeah... Even the factory torque on the seat bolts isn't crazy.

    Probably not doing this right, it's been a while. F = MA, 220lb passenger, 6g in car crash = 220*6*32.174 = 42,470lbf

Weight does not equal mass. Mass = weight divided by the acceleration of gravity. But I get where you are coming from.

Given that the bolt is the single unit of attachment, exactly as the factory part, it's fine. Now, if it were like ...say... those ridiculous bolt-on spacers for wheels (insert facepalm here), I would agree with you. My 2 cents.

If we agree...great. If not, you are entitled to what you wish. It's all good.

My main concern would be the quality of the longer bolts. If they have the same strength as the oem, the safety factor (probably 2.5), should absorb the increased load/shear force.

I believe they are equal to or better than stock.

They're not just spacers -- the front of the seats attach to this chunk of metal instead of the floorpan.

OH FFS. I just installed these.

For the 4th Gen Tacoma - They are simply spacer blocks that lift the front of the seat brackets/sliders - to increase the front to back tilt angle of the seat.
    >>> They include longer, HD bolts that bolt directly to the stock locations. For those that can't read, I can provide photos. :annoyed:

The seat rail bolts into a tapped hole in the spacer. It does not merely mount "through it" like a spacer or a thick washer. See photo with green arrow showing tapped hole that the seat rail would be mounted to. Here's the installation instructions which make it even clearer: https://desertdoesit.com/blogs/installation-instructions/toyota-front-seat-jackers

Friend. That's for the 3rd Gen Tacoma's. We all have 4th Gen Tacomas.
The 4th Gen version solved this problem. Which is why I installed it. :frusty:

Damn, you're right. I input a 2024 Tacoma in the vehicle selector on their webpage and it took me to that 3rd gen spacer. I didn't catch that I was looking at a 3rd gen cab. My bad.
