my taco was also stopping on 100% front brake bias
my front pads(4 months old per prior owners invoice) were making a 'curly cue' with pad material on top

after searching here i determined was a failed LSPV
    here is my delete thread:

Any idea why my power steering hard when wheels on the floors. I perform flush after installing new pump an rack clean the screen on bottom of reservoir also . But when I jack wheel off floor the steering is very smooth like it should.
Was leaning towards the intermittent shaft behind brake pedal?
    TIA

I've done the same to mine. It's better after cleaning the screen filter but not right yet. Only thing left to try is replacing the ps lines. Gonna start with high pressure line first.

Maybe a clogged line not letting fluid flow through it? But why only when my wheels are off the floor the wheel turns smooth and on the floor like a pressure issue.

Well I figure it takes less pressure to turn when off the ground, and when it's down theres more pressure inside the line. The smaller the path through the hose, the more pressure required to move the volume of fluid required. I bet if you try and turn very slowly with wheels down, itll turn easier. Just makes sense to me that even a partially clogged line is gonna cause poor performance.

Actually I was gonna try replacing that before I bought a new pressure hose. But then I read a few people said that sensor just tells the pcm to idle up the engine when turning the wheel while moving slow or not at all, to compensate for the pressure. So idk man. Maybe I'll try that first. But glad you got it fixed.
