This happened to me too several years ago. I still wonder what caused it but am afraid to remove the bolt to examine it.

None of them acted like that when I removed the front bolts all the way for the seat jackers. But ultimately I replaced my front seats for the Scion FRS bucket seats so the rear bolts had to go. Which are the worst putting back on with much less space to move around. Alas the thread got messed up. Your guess is as good as mine

Front driver side wheel bearing failed. Loud droning hum and vibration in the pedals. Brought it in to the shop and had it replaced. Since I had to fold the top down to load my new tires in the bed I decided to go with the top down look and give her a wash as the weather warms up.

Also found out all of my ball joints need to be replaced so I’m thinking about grabbing a new set of ucas because those goddam spc uppers go through ball joints like a fat kid through cupcakes. Thinking about grabbing a set of JBAs since I’ve heard a lot of positive reviews about them. Can anybody vouch?

Appreciate it! I assume then that you have it bolted to something sturdy under the hood? I’ve also been looking for different methods of installing relays.

I don't really know what those are, but regardless, just from the sound of them, I think I definitely need some on my truck anyway... :proposetoast: kinda like name-dropping someone with an impressive name that no one has ever heard of, but from the looks you get they are impressed anyway.

The cleaning and detail looks nice!

I wish someone would produce an after-market hood insulator blanket for these trucks. I think it would be a good seller. It looks like it was all set up/planned as plug-and-play for one under the hood, but never implemented for some reason. Engine bay detail below courtesy of Lemon Pledge:

Tomorrow I’m buying a lightly used Eahora M8S 4000w scooter/motorcycle. Got a 600lb capacity hauler from Harbor Freight for $240.

Used with only 230 miles as the owner decided to order an Indian and needed the garage space. Includes a phone cradle (and way to charge off the bike), two styles of saddle bags, and it’s completely street legal.

Cut and drilled the angle iron, then cut and tacked the tubing for my fridge mount. Also got the plywood rough cut. Don't look too close at the tack welds. It's been a while.

A mod I have been wanting to do for a long time.
I insulated the low pressure AC pipe under the hood.
Used some left over insulation and wrapped it in high temp fabric tape.
Secured the ends using stainless steel tie wraps I had left over from another project.
    IMG_3820.jpg

Only 41.7F on a meat thermometer while idling in the driveway but it feels nice and cold when driving in 90+ outdoor temperature.
    IMG_3821.jpg

I finally got motivated after working on an old Geo Prism which had a factory insulated pipe.

Do you have a link for the insulation and tape used?

Replaced my clutch master cylinder yesterday because the pedal was soft and no longer returing on it’s own.

Having fixed that, I moved on and installed 2.5 king coilovers, set the lift around 2” and did an alignment at home this morning. Just took it for a test drive and it tracks straight and the wheel is also centered so that’s a win. SPC tool made it super easy. Also ordered an icon 3 leaf aal since it’s a little nose high now
