Wondering why truck dose t make it out of 4 th gear automatic so is 5/6 obsolete with 5.29’s? Truck pulls back at 83mph tops out nothing left gas pedal like auto pulls up. Just wondering if 5.29s were right choice

The problem is the automatic trucks govern top speed based on expected driveshaft speed. That speed is around 112 mph in stock form, but the 5.29s now make it to where you are achieving that driveshaft speed at 83 mph.

You need to load a tune file that raises the governor so that you can resume driving up to higher speeds. You can edit a stock file or buy an actual tune from one of the tuners. I prefer to DIY, so if it was me I would probably buy VF tuner and just edit the stock tune.

I went 488's as I didn't want this limitation on the rpm and the higher speeds, but as others have said it can be fixed with tuning and you should be ok with 529's.
