I don't know how I missed this thread, but so happy it was pointed out to me, I am excited to go through all 178 pages to see how others have built their long bed Taco! Eager to get ideas! And I suppose now that I found this thread, I suppose I should up a pic of mine!

A few months ago for trout opener…snowy and cold.

 

Mind sharing your tire and lift (if it's lifted) specs?

Yep! It’s 1.5” up front ~2 in the back. I forgot to take measurements before but it’s 22.5/24 if I recall.
Tires are Kenda RTs in 33x10.5x17. They’ve held up great

Thanks man! Its coming along, I need some armor, been getting waaay to close to by rocker panels lately and dragging the rear over some stuff but I might need a new steering rack so well see.
How are you liking the front bumper? Thing looks epic!

 

Sweet thanks! I was thinking of going with 2.5” front/rear with 33’s but after seeing yours I don’t think I’d have to go that high

Oh no it sounds painful to replace, was it clunky or leaky? I've got a weird clunk that I can't source but feels almost like my rack moving or my tie rods are trashed.

 

Dealer warranty thank god was leaky

 

Yeah sub 2" seems the safest option for keeping CVs and other components happier, though I do like the look of the 2.5-3" lift. I'd start lower and see how you like it and then snap up some photos for us all
