Costco should have ltx ms2 or their version of it in 16" ; the ltx at2 is no longer available in 16" and has a slightly more aggressive tread pattern.

You'd be fine with ltx ms2 on fire roads.

They have 16”, but only in stock size, and not 265/75. The reason for that is because they insist on making the new tire only XL load range for the non-LT tires. XL load rating does not exist for 265/75. I have them (265/70R16 Defender LTX M/S2) and really like them. I kind of want KO3s for the cool factor, but I’m not replacing tires again unless I’m buying a separate set of wheels and KO3s for off road purposes. Even then, unlikely.

If you need a good road tire, I wouldn’t let the lack of 265/75 keep me from buying Michelins.

I don't think they still make ltx at2 in 265/70/16. It didn't come up on Costco's website as an option when I looked and it's not on Michelin's website. Maybe discontinued recently? It shows out of stock on random websites through a google search.
