Monday morning manly men

 

My wife's friend is doing sourdough pretty regular and taking them to farmers markets, selling them as fast as she can make em. $12-15 each I do believe. The cinnamon version makes a killer French toast too.

Play dumb always. I excel at this.

 

My wife makes all kinds of bread and has gotten really good at it. At first, it wasn't good.

Her latest creation is sourdough cinnamon rolls





Like every normal man does, I eat the heart first

 

There are people at church trying to buy sourdough bread from my wife, she won't sell it to them, just gives it to them.

Speaking of church, about a year ago a guy in his 60's with an attitude pushed his finger in my daughters neck while she was walking down the hallway. Not sure why but since I'm a non confrontational person I started walking with her to class some and haven't had anymore issues.....until yesterday.

We had a get together yesterday evening and had a pot luck. We were sitting down and that guy and his wife walked up then sat down and were talking to some people.

My wife said "did Sadie tell you he pushed her neck this morning?"

I said no and my blood began to boil. I went and got my daughter and pointed to him and said is that the guy who pushed your neck this morning? She said yes and told me about it. I wanted to make sure I had the right guy.

I kept watching him and he stood up to get something to eat so I walked over to him and got pretty close to him. He stuck his hand out and said "hey man".

I didn't stick my hand out and said my daughter said you pushed on her neck this morning and it hurt her. It's the 2nd time you've done it.

He smirked and sorta smiled and said "yeah". That made me even madder.

I got as close to his face as I could without touching him and said "don't put your hands on my daughter, ever again".

He said "ok" and I walked off.

Hopefully he got the point

Not for me, I need to remember Monday to put out the trash and Tuesday street sweeping to avoid parking ticket

 

You handled yourself well, better than many would for sure.

I'm disappointed with the guy on several levels, one being you hope folks at church functions are a little more... something...

 

Made another fork frame for my 5' forks because they are too heavy to change and not doing any good laying in the edge of the woods.

Figured it was smart to test fit them before painting instead of after like I normally do

Took the frame to powdercoat this morning.

 

He didn't talk to me anyway unless I initiated it, he ask me about welding on his boiler a while back and bashed the other 2 welders who have worked on it saying they didn't know what they were doing. I told him I wasn't interested in working on it since I know nothing about boilers......except they probably rust from the inside out....like a Toyota frame

Wow, what a creeper. What kind of man goes around to repeatedly do that to a girl, much less the first time? What’s the motivation beyond some sort of deviant self gratification.. Turns my gut…

I admire your constraint. Confronting him was good. Next time, if you DON’T the want battery charges, do it in front of his wife and other parishioners. Good luck to you and your daughter.
