Maybe there is a thread maybe not, but does any one know how to clean the light grey seats in the 2024 Tacoma OR models. My daughter spilled some sprite so I used some resolve to clean it but it seems to have left a ghost where I got the seat damp with the spray. Is there better options for cleaning these seats?

Get the whole seat wet. Really. Sometimes when I get a stain on my leather boots, the only answer is to stain the whole boot with whatever made the stain, even water.

Also...why, Toyota...why...light grey on the bottom of the seat...just why?

Also, unless you rinsed with water, the Resolve residue is still on/in the seat fabric. Distilled water (tap water might leave mineral stains) in a spray bottle to really wet the seat then a dry towel or paper towel to soak up what you can. Repeat several times to get the cleaner residue out.

Needs defoamer and flood rinsed to get it all out. Left as is, it will forever be a stain.
Best bet is to take it to a carpet cleaner for HWE and let them know you used Resolve.

Seat covers are your friend….theres several good ones out there that look better even than factory leather seats.

Bissell Hydrosteam works very well as do their cleaners with oxi. I have the upright version, but they make a portable version,

This is my favorite laundry spray. Pairs well with Kirkland detergent from Costco. It works on other surfaces (car seats) too.

Just looking at Toyota gray fabric may cause a stain…also, breathing on Toyota paint may cause fading and/or chipping. So, don’t look, or breath…

Or just go with a quality set of covers for peace of mind.
