2013 4.0L V6 Tacoma Long bed, full size cab.

Anyone had issues with fender flares coming loose after trimming? Wondering if anyone’s got some special fix when some of the plastic Square on the flare piece breaks off when removing

I’ve tried hot glue / vhb 3m tape but those have both failed
