Tacoma 2004 V6 4WD transmision Problem

Tacoma 2004 V6 4wd

I have a 2004 Tacoma V6 4x4. The transmission was repaired, and now they don't know why it won't shift gears. It could be a solenoid. Before sending it in for repair, it had a P0705 code. When I stopped at a stoplight and continued driving, the car would stay in first gear. I could then turn the car off and on again, and it continued normally.
