I like some of his stuff and recommendations but some of it is just ridiculously overpriced.

The Eley stuff is great, especially the QDs but man they are proud of everything!

Totally agreed! The door mat I just saw him reviewing that he paid over $1k for was ridiculously overpriced.

    Here's a fun update:

Barely have driven the new car. Shop that did the PPF royally butchered the install and I need to go get my money back. Since the PPF needs to come off, and then I need to prep the car again and then coat it. Huge waste of time. They also have to redo the windshield tint. Somehow they scratched the tint during install.

2 sets of carbon parts have arrived, neither have fit right. Waiting on the third set. Mind you this is not ebay carbon but a high end brand. Shop basically called me a retard and said I didn't know how to install carbon parts, then all of a sudden they realized their molds had issues. WTF.

3 sets of blacked out factory emblems have arrived. Finally got a good set on the third set. This company (IND) takes oem badges, and blacks out all the chrome on the badges via paint. Their painter was blowing the backing tape off of the 3m tape on the backside somehow and paint would land on the 3m tape rendering them useless.

I was able to lower the new car and get it aligned, so far so good on that side.

    Worst update:

Had the windshield replaced in my truck from a local glass shop. Used them before. Hundreds of 5 star reviews on google. Unfortunately they royally scratched both A-pillars and worse, the roof edge. While they admitted fault, they have not apologized nor will the owner call me back. I keep having to deal with the receptionist and they think they can strong arm me into using the body shop of "their" choice. So far the cheapest quote is around $2600 to fix the damage the glass shop caused, not including rental or depreciated value. Far cry from the $900 they told me their shop quoted them.

Since I got a new windshield, I figured I would bump the truck into modern times by getting all the old tint removed and replaced with Xpel Prime XR Plus ceramic tint. I had the basic Xpel tint before as I originally bought the truck as a lease vehicle and didn't want to spend much money. Tint looks great, got 70% on the windshield but AGAIN, they just redid the windshield for the second time and it looks like they again got debris under the film right where I look out of the windshield (drivers POV). Not sure if I should ask for a refund this time, or let them try a third time.

My tank of a dishwasher finally died, 25yrs old. Cleaned so much better than the new machines. Replacement is going to cost me $1800

I've been sick for two weeks too.

    Enjoy!

PS: New suspension for the truck should be shipping soon!
