3.5 Tacoma equal length exhaust

I just need to get some proper midpipes on, mine are just the stock ones that I fucked up enough to work with my duals
I also wanna try some different mufflers, but I might try catless dump tubes before I do that.

 

There are definitely gains to be had with the exhaust on this truck, your coworker seems a bit optimistic tho lmao

As far as the j pipe/Helmholtz goes, it’s a magical little device! Just took 2 tries to get the pipe the right length to kill my 2300rpm 118hz ear splitting drone. Anyone considering using a Helmholtz to kill drone make sure to calculate with taking into account the speed of sound with the exhaust temperature (my measurements led to about 275 degrees f), not room temperature, that’s where I messed up at first and why it took 2 tries to get the pipe the right length. And use a frequency measuring app on your phone, it eliminates the confusion of finding the exact rpm and number firing events. But no more drone!! And I don’t care what anyone says, exhaust tips change sound. After chopping it off sounds so much smoother and less obnoxious sound peaks

installed OVT high flow cats a couple weeks ago.. I’m blown away completely
