I bought a set of Craftsman lithium tools, along with a Harbor Freight Bauer lithium chainsaw and a pole saw. I’m not a full-time carpenter but you know what? Those are all working for me very well. In fact, we did a volunteer gig at Manzanar National Historic Site (a Japanese -American internment camp during WWII on the east side of the Sierra in California) over three-days last Memorial Day weekend, and I used my Bauer chainsaw to cut and prep all the poles from nearby trees you see here and my Craftsman drill to build this recreation of the original fence around the pond the internees built 80 years ago, and I only needed two 5-ampHr batteries the whole weekend without recharging them. Lithium tools are great!
