Loaded out 4 TL and got 2 more ready. And have 2 more outside waiting for us to get ready to ship.
I forgot to tell you we had an Averitt driver on Tuesday man that was painful watching em back in, later my former coworker from Averitt came by. Told him he sure did back in way faster than that TL driver, we both chuckled.

Supposedly we got our last truck from Canada yesterday . Loaded out 3 TL's and 2 LTL's yesterday and got more today. Kidded around with XPO driver told em we stop receiving at 15:00 on Thursdays and don't receive until after 12:30 on Tuesdays he said okay.

Well back to work today after a much needed vacation. I work 2 weeks and then I'm off for another week.

Good morning drivers hope everyone has a good and safe day today. Yesterday was fun 2 coworkers out/off XPO needed 2-30 footers for their pick up from Friday. Loaded out 1 going to MD and 2 more LTL's. Along with banding and wrapping other stuff for shipping out. Oh yeah they brought over a new employee too.
I almost forgot Averitt driver was my co-drivers son ribbed him on his backing skills, told him I was going to call his dad so they can work on that.

 

I day down, 4 to got to get to the weekend, lol. Upper 80s today, ac is fixed in the truck thankfully.

A little cooler today, high of 80, it's 74 at 5 am. Thunderstorms this afternoon.

@Tiedie looks like your trucks coming from this direction are gonna be late due to I40 being shutdown yet again due to flooding. Hope that you didn’t get any of that on your side of the mountains

 

No we're fine. But Friday we had a inch and the neighbors across the way had 3 inches.

 

Good morning drivers, welp as you see we have yet another traffic nightmare. Their talking a couple of weeks to clear up. Watch out for the short cuts because they probably won't save you any time or heart aches, a matter of fact they will cost you.

We loaded 2 truckloads out yesterday, I worked on the yard organizing the pipe. They hired back a guy who quit during the clean up stages , now that the worst is over he decided to come back. That changes things for me a little bit. Less truck loading and more outside stuff.
Oh yeah I forgot they told us our new forklifts should be here by December with heating and a/c. Sure wish they were here already.
