First off the reason for not selling is not 4 x 4 and mentioned of there is a lift kit you wonder who installed and make of it could influence the sales. I would not buy anything that has been lifted regardless if 1 inch or 8 inches. Are you thinking of buying it. Really have it checked out first.

I wouldn't necessarily consider a pre-lifted truck too big of a deal IF one knows what to look out for (what's good/bad/been modified).
If you're a first-time buyer though (which it sounds like you are since you're asking about it), then fully agreed, a lift could potentially hide surprises that wouldn't be obvious to you until you got it home/things go wrong.

FWIW, it looks like this truck just has a spacer lift on it (very easily removed). That alone shouldn't be too concerning (not as much as a truck that had parts cut off it for various modifications (fenders cut, cab mounts, crossmembers (frame), bumpers, etc.)). It's also 2WD and has 0 in the way of "performance" parts, so good chance it was lifted simply for looks.
I would 2nd the hiring a mechanic of your own just to confirm it's in decent shape.

OP asked if this truck was a risky buy because it had a lift on it... Said he wasn't real familiar with lifts and still learning, or something to that effect and didn't know if he should buy it because it looked to him like the camber was out of whack... Was also worried because it hadn't sold right away and that they had lowered the price ($3K I think) to $31K...
(it probably just the angle of the photos because it looks like the camber is off only in some of them)

Guessing he failed to look close enough at the ad & pics to realize it was 2WD when he wanted 4x4 and so (embarrassed) tried to split, but then found out he couldn't delete the thread. :homer:

You are probably right the OP decided not to continue this any further as stated probably because it is a 2 x 4 and of the lift part scared him away. He will come back someday and show us a pic of a 4 x4 with no lifts or with a lift depending on what he wants and gets. Good luck OP
