Hey guys, I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD PRO with about 82,000 miles on it. Recently, I have this VSC and Pre Collison Malfunction warning light that came on. I got it aligned one time and light went away but the steering wheel was not straight. I had them lined steering wheel back straight and those lights came back on. I should add to this that I was at the river one day and there was a few water holes that you had to go through in order to get to river. As I was leaving, I went through this one water hole that submerged my truck and I couldn't get out of it without being pulled out. Water did get inside the truck on driver side but not the passenger side. I'm wondering if something got wet to cause those lights come up on dash. Any suggestion to look for?
I do have a VF Tuner that I was going to put on it and it wouldn't let me due to an invalid connection to the ECM or low voltage DOFF.
    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Definitely sounds like water intrusion into ECM and or wiring connections. Unfortunately this is one of the hardest things to troubleshoot. Even if you replace the ECM you could still have issues with the wire connections. I would start by checking the connections where you know what was under water.

Most likely, that water intrusion is the source. However, you need to pull the codes and find out what devices are having issues. Start there with troubleshooting and work backwards. Otherwise, you are just guessing.

Crazy thing about it, that I can still drive it like nothing is wrong. What do I need to be able to pull codes off of it to identify what's causing the issue?

A working diagnostics (DLC) port, and a code reader.
If your port isn't working (maybe why your VFTuner wouldn't connect?), my suggestion would be the same as said above and look for any & all electrical connections, wiring & electronic modules in the area where water got in. Unplug the connections and let them all air out for a day or two (disconnect the battery first though!). Also clean/blow out any water you find in the connections with an air compressor. Reassemble and see if things have cleared up.

Also FWIW, any time the wheel alignment is adjusted where the steering wheel position changes, you have to recalibrate (zero-point) the VSC system (there should be enough info on the forum here how to do this if you search). So your Pre-Collision warning may or may not be related to the rest of what you have going on.

start with with removing lower driver side panel and check junction connectors for water. Check J3 one.

So, carried truck to shop. Did the zero point calibration and it worked in park but soon as they put it in drive, lights came back on. Said they did the same process 4 times and still same results. Would this mean I have an electrical issue somewhere?

Did they full scan all modules for DTCs? You need that info (and a subscription to TIS) to narrow down what modules (or wiring to modules) need investigation. If you have lights on the dash, you have at least 1 DTC stored.
