Creating a centralized thread to discuss all things Leitner ACS racks, accessories and builds. I searched for a similar thread but one doesn't seem to exist. This product certainly isn't new, however, there's plenty of folks using it as found in 2g/3g and build forums so i thought a central place to discuss questions and comments would be useful.

I recently picked up a used ACS rack for my 3G DCSB. I have a tonneau with t slots from Synetic which is not on the official support list but it is easily made to work. I needed a couple of short sections of 1/8"x2" alum flat bar to sandwich between the tonneau rails and the rack to shim it up because the Synetic has a 1/8" cover plate that sits over the cannister up front. The flat bars bring it all up level. The rack cross bars easily adjust to the necessary width.

I use my vehicle mainly for day trips to the trails and mountain for mountain biking and other non-overland activities. Having the tonneau compatibility is key to keep our gear secure. I've got a 1UP roof rack mounted on the Leitner bike rack mounts so 1UP's do fit in addition to the Kuat they prescribe.

The HydroPOD is also really handy and refreshing to hose off after a super sweaty or dusty all day ride.

I've also designed an published a few 3D print models for the HydroPOD that others may find useful. I'll post them in a separate reply below.

Also looking to add a SUP and maybe a couple kayaks and a way to carry, any suggestions on that?

^^ Detail of the added alum plate to shim the rack lower rail up to align with the Synetic cannister cover plate. Also added a thin 2" wide strip of foam rubber to help equalize and support.

As I mentioned before, i have a few 3D print models i've made for the rack, mainly for the Hydropod. We use this to rinse off after a ride and had a couple ideas for items that could be helpful if you also use one. They're free to download and print if you want to try them out.

Articulating Hose Nozzle Holder Arm -- hands free way to hold the nozzle for a mini shower.

And a simple Nozzle holster to hold the sprayer when you're not using it.

Does anyone carry SUP's or kayaks on thier rack and have any suggestions for mounts or carriers? Is it enough to just ratchet strap them or is some dedicated mount preferred?
