Hey all, (Should i show them the video and tell them to fix it or?)

After a few days of purchasing my 2025 tacoma, both front windows started screeching when rolling them down. I didn't take it back to get services because im a dummy and waited for "more problems" to knock it all out at the same time like my bed was misaligned

Fast forward I got my windows tinted before heading to the dealership (i know im dumb) so they tried to say it was the tint... but i showed them video of it happening before..

SO, my dashcam was on while they were working on my car, and you can CLEARLY hear the windows screeching, and them saying to just put some silicon lube which I ALREADY told them i did....

I pickup my car and they say they heard nothing.

Should i show them the video and tell them to fix it or?

Maybe a polite call to the service manager in the morning is all you need....

I have the same issue on my driver side window. It is a little jerky when I lower it.

I would start with a polite conversation with the service manager, not the rep. If that fails to go anywhere, make sure the footage is saved and open a case with customer care.

I’d fall back to that option, sounds like you can recreate the noise, so just show the service manager

I do have video proof of before the tint. I got 3m. They send a confirmation warranty on the date it was done

Take this for what it's worth. Depending on what state you're in, there are laws regarding video/audio recording persons without consent. California for example is a 2 party consent state, and being that this was at a dealership (on private property) using the recording as leverage could be a bad move.
Certainly shitty service wherever you went and I would take my business elsewhere.

Did you bring it to the dealer in April when you first complained about here on TW?
