It's a process, but pays off nicely in flex after.

To be honest with you though, the best benefit of the 63 swap is how well it rides while bearing the load now. It was way easier to hit my weight and comfort goals with them than it was with Taco leaf modifications or aftermarket packs.

Yeah the flex is almost a non issue for me, it's the fact that I rely on the airbags to maintain drivability when I am loaded up.

Next weekend I am taking the Bronco for a Crawlin for a Cure event, one that is specifically for blood cancer which you know is deeply personal to me because of recent life events. And since he is finally off Blina and can get dirty as he wants again I am getting him camping as much as possible while he is off it. I signed up to be in a blue group because I figured if I am in a group with someone else leading I can't look at a stupid trail or line and be like "let me try that..." Perfect attitude to have with the DD. :p

I’ve got a set of 3/4 tons and a ruffstuff kit, need to swap asap, but I’ll have to settle for now for the t-100 springs I’ve been on for 20 years that are pretty close to done.

My question for those who’ve done the swap, drivability wise, do you feel it makes the ride feel stable/limits body roll on highway? That’s my hope, need to get rid of the body roll, not comfortable at all when you’re nervous about having to make a sudden movement to avoid an accident, etc

If it's enough spring rate you don't have to worry about additional body roll. If you're underspung it could become a factor though
